You skip meals during the day or limit your food intake, so your body is ravenous by the time you get home.

Eating has become your only source of pleasure because you are not having enough fun or relaxation in your life. You use food to help you unwind or cope with difficult emotions, boredom, loneliness, procrastination etc
This then becomes a habit.

Make sure to drink enough water during the day and evening, being less than well hydrated can make one think you are hungry. Sit down to eat dinner don’t eat in front of the TV.
